Oct. 23, 2017 -- With preferential tax policy, the ecological tea industry in Medog County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region gains healthy and rapid development. By the first half of 2017, there are over 5800 mu of tea planting area in Medog County, leading more than 2000 farmers and herdsmen to get employed and increase incomes, according to the State Tax Bureau of Tibet Autonomous Region.

With moderate climate and abundant rainfall, Medog belongs to the subtropical climate. Local government vigorously supports the establishment of Medog Tea Company and positively develops ecological tea industry.

To improve the enthusiasm for tea planting, farmers and herdsmen can enjoy the favorable policy of getting paid if they are engaged in tea planting labor. However, labor invoice must be needed.

Besides, material lists on relevant invoice business are distributed to farmers and herdsmen and consulting telephone number of the tax service hall is provided for them.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the tax revenue of Medog County has been increased from 11.178 million yuan in 2013 to 50.15 million yuan in 2016. In addition, the satisfaction degree of local taxpayers is also enhanced.
