7 villages in Tibet listed as demonstration villages

Sep.13,2017--Seven villages in Tibet have been listed as demonstration villages for improving rural living conditions by 5 ministries including the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction and the Ministry of Finance.

Two of them are located in Lhasa, and five are in Qamdo, Lhoka, Nyingchi, Shigatse and Ngari Prefecture respectively.

To be a demonstration village, village candidates should meet 3 requirements: security, infrastructure and the sanitation.

Each village has received a subsidy of 1 million yuan from the central budget.
