July 6,2017--Disabled People’s Federation of Lhasa has invested 2.34 million yuan in innovation and entrepreneurship projects for the disabled in local counties.

Since March this year, the federation has focused its work on employment, education and rehabilitation of the disabled. It has provided jobs for some of them and is expected to create job opportunities for 252 poor families with disabled members.

“When we’re worried about capitals, we’re given this large sum of money. We’ll roll up sleeves and work harder,” said the manager of Tibetan-style furniture factory in Tohlung Dechen of Lhasa after being provided 317,100 yuan supportive fund.

Currently, Lhasa has hit new highs in the scale of supportive projects for the disabled.
