July 8, 2016 -- Sonia Bressler, a French writer
July 8, 2016 -- The Forum on the Development of Tibet opened Thursday in Lhasa.
More than 130 experts, scholars and correspondents from over 30 countries and regions attended the forum which was co-hosted by the State Council Information Office and the Tibetan regional government.
The theme of this forum is “New Phase of Tibet’s Development—Innovative, Coordinated, Green, Open and Shared Development.”
Sonia Bressler, a French writer, said: “This is my third time to Tibet. I like Tibet’s landscape very much. And Tibet is a crossroad of languages, traditions, and cultures. Lhasa, a city nestled in the heart of the highest mountains in the world, is a place of myths and history. ”
“For me, Tibet has the faces of all those men and women who live, and work here. I had the opportunity to meet them during my travels. They all have different stories to which we must pay tribute,” she added.
